Interweaving tracing paper and bringing it together into a ball-like shape, I made a geometric cloud. I perched it on top of a spool with a gear base–both from the antique district. A perforated canning top supports the paper shade. The bulb is LED (of course) 25 watt. I like the “cloud” elevated, but if you don’t have a way to do that you can use a trivet.
The pattern for the “cloud” is the same for the wall hanging.
